Care and Recovery Network Volunteer Opportunities
Try It
The Care and Recovery Network views Morning Star as a family—and being a part of a family includes celebrating and supporting people through the joys and trials of life.
Medical Response Team
The Morning Star Medical Response Team allows us to have a member of our medical team at each of our weekend services and during events. In order to volunteer for our Medical Response Team, we ask that all volunteers have Basic life Support (BLS) training. If you don’t have the required training, don't worry! We will provide that training for you. Training takes a couple of hours and then you will be issued an American Heart Association Heart Savior/AED card that is good for two years.

Care Call Ministry
Care Callers contact people who have been absent from worship services to help discover if there is some way that MSC can support and encourage them.
Care Team
Through greeting cards, meals, and occasional transportation assistance, the Care Team provides care and encouragement to people going through a crisis or special circumstance.
Hospital Visitation Ministry
Our Hospital Visitors provide care and support for those experiencing a hospital stay.
Prayer Team
The Prayer Team supports MSC members, attendees, and the ministries of the church through the power of prayer. Team members can participate as prayer partners (face-to-face prayer before and after worship), by joining a team that prays before each worship service, and/or by joining our email prayer chain.
