Linda has been a part of Morning Star Church since we opened our doors and has watched us evolve over the years. As the Director of Congregational Care, she serves with the prayer, care, and hospital teams. She has the privilege to stand with our congregation during difficult moments, share in praises for answered prayers, celebrate victories, and give love and comfort when a heart is breaking. At MSC you are not alone; there is a whole team of people ready to serve you.
She and Bill have been doing life together many years, they delight in their children, Michael and Lisa, enjoy treasured friends, and supporting each other in their passions. He is often found in his woodworking shop and Linda is in her studio painting with oils, acrylics and watercolors. She even turned her dining room into her studio!
What career would you never-in-a-million-years consider? Acting or anything that draws much attention to me, I have no desire to be in the lime-light.
You're on a cross-country road trip. What three food items must come with you? RC cola, a box of Hot Tamale candies, and a bag of Lindt Lindor Truffles.
What do you want to be when you grew up? Not in a big hurry to grow up. I am old enough to know there is always so much more to do and learn. The only challenge is to stay healthy and of sound mind to take on each new adventure. My new mantra is “Lord, use me . . . use me up . . . and then take me home.”
