Outfit for Advancement
Hope Resource Center Outfit for Advancement is a resource for men and women who are entering the workforce and need professional clothing for job interviews. Each client may select one interview outfit, and upon obtaining employment, up to four additional outfits can be selected.
Donate Clothing and Accessory Items
We accept business attire and accessories appropriate for men and women to wear to a job interview, including:
- Pant/skirt suits
- Jackets/blazers
- Slacks
- Shirt/blouses (especially in white, cream, beige, and black)
- Dress shoes in navy, brown, or black
- Women’s jewelry/men’s watches
- Scarves
- Purses
- Briefcases/Portfolios
- Unused cosmetics
- Unused, dark-colored men's dress socks
- Unused women's hosiery (knee-highs included) in nude, off-black, and coffee
Special Instructions
- Please donate only clothing that you will feel comfortable wearing to an interview yourself.
- Clothing must be seasionally appropriate, cleaned, on hangers, and in style.
- We do not accept garments in bags.
- All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided upon donation drop-off.
- We are unable to pick up donations at this time.
We are unable to accept the following:

Used cosmetics
- Used pantyhose
- Undergarments
- Non-interview-appropriate clothing
- Children’s clothing
Please note: Donations that are deemed inappropriate or those that are considered excess inventory will be re-donated to other non-profit organizations.
