What's the Big Deal?

In our community, we have families for whom $30ish of school supplies (per child!) feels financially overwhelming. You can make a true difference as we lend a hand to children in our own church family and as we partner with agencies like Love INC, Head Start, and Hope Resource Center.

And just so you’re clear: By engaging in this project, you’re offering way more than a few pencils and crayons. Know what else? Hope.

How You Can Help

Donate a backpack and/or supplies.

We’re sponsoring 250 children this year, so don’t stress over the pink-and-swirly or blue-and-camo decision. We’ll be able to match a kiddo to your donation with no problem. Visit the lobby starting July 16/17 to get a list of supplies. Donations are due back by July 31.

If you weren't able to pick up a list of supplies in the lobby, but would still like to help by purchasing supplies, please contact Stacy Eikermann at 636.332.0704.

If shopping’s not your favorite thing, no problem: You’re welcome to make a donation, and we’ll do the shopping for you. (Some of us really enjoy that sort of thing. Weird, huh?) Donate by stopping by the table in the lobby or using the form below.

Offer your time and energy to our Pack-a-Pack Parties.

This year we will be having two parties to help us prepare to hand off the supplies to the families.

  1. Sorting Party (organizing and sorting donations) - August 3, 6-8:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.
  2. Packing Party (packing backpacks with supplies) - August 4, 6-8:30 p.m. in the Auditorium
