What's the Big Deal?

As the price of fuel and food continues to soar, families are having to stretch their income like never before . . . and $30ish of school supplies (per child!) may prove extremely difficult for already-struggling families. You can make a true difference in our community as we lend a hand to children in our own church family and as we partner with agencies like Love INC and Head Start!

And just so you’re clear: By engaging in this project, you’re offering way more than a few pencils and crayons. Know what else? Hope.

How You Can Help

Donate a backpack and/or supplies.

We’re sponsoring FIVE HUNDRED children this year, so don’t stress over the pink-and-swirly or blue-and-camo decision. We’ll be able to match a kiddo to your donation with no problem. Download and print a list of the supplies we're after, and then leave your gifts in the lobby beginning July 5.

Donate some lunch sack-friendly non-perishables.

In addition to school supplies, we’ll be providing nutritious breakfast and lunch supplies to help get kids off to a good start. Suggested items are included on the shopping list mentioned above.

Donate money to purchase backpacks, supplies, and groceries.

If shopping’s not your favorite thing, no problem: You’re welcome to make a donation, and we’ll do the shopping for you. (Some of us really enjoy that sort of thing. Weird, huh?) Donate online using the form below, or stop by the lobby.

Wednesday, July 29, 5:30-8:30 pm (We’ll feed ya!)

That’s right . . . we’re gonna gather all 500-kids’ worth of school supplies and groceries and then assemble backpacks using their actual school- and grade-specific lists. FUN! You can RSVP for the party below or out in the lobby. (Middle schoolers and older, please.)
