Morning Star Church Care Ministry exists to love and support our church and community by helping people carry one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). We are here to care for you and equip you to care for others through practical, Christ-centered ministries—so together, we can love our church and community well.

We believe in the power of prayer!
If you have prayer needs, we would be honored to pray with and for you.

Hospital Visits & Funeral Support

Life is full of both joyful moments and difficult ones, and we want to walk alongside you through all of it.
Whether you or a loved one is facing a hospital stay, upcoming surgery, or the loss of someone dear, our Pastoral and Care Team is here to offer a visit, a listening ear, and prayer.

To request a visit or prayer: Text us at (833) 675-8036

For funeral support and arrangements: Email us at elizabeth.carter@mscwired.org. You don't have to face life's hardest moments alone — we're honored to be there with you.

Marriage Mentors

We believe healthy marriages are rooted in Christ and strengthened through intentional support. Whether preparing for marriage or walking through
a difficult season, our trained mentor couples offer guidance, encouragement, and practical tools for lasting, God-centered relationships.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program that helps people find healing from hurts, habits, and hang-ups through biblical teaching, supportive community, and the life-changing power of Jesus. We meet every Thursday here on campus, and the service is also streamed online at 7 p.m.
If you’re looking for hope and support, we invite you to join us — because no one should have to walk through their struggles alone.

Cancer Companions

Cancer Companions provides spiritual encouragement and compassionate support for individuals and families impacted by cancer.
You don’t have to walk this journey alone—we are here to walk beside you with hope and prayer.

Stephen Ministers

Are you or a loved one hurting or going through a tough time? Stephen Ministers are trained lay caregivers who provide confidential, one-on-one support through life’s difficult seasons, offering presence, prayer, and compassionate listening.

Care Groups

Care Groups provide supportive community for people in shared life circumstances, offering encouragement, connection, and understanding through specialized groups such as The Classics 50+, Widows/Widowers, Traumatic Brain Injury, Embracing the Journey, and Foster/Adoptive Families.

WEEKLY ONLINE PRAYER MEETINGS

You don’t have to carry things alone. We come together online each week to pray—for our church, our community, and one another.

"I am very appreciative of the staff, especially the Worship and Cares teams. They have done so much to support me during my medical struggles and I always have someone stopping by when I’m in the hospital, offering to bring meals or give me rides, or even sending able-bodies to shovel my car out of the snow. The time and resources they’ve put in to help me show that I’m more than just a volunteer to them — I’m part of the MSC family."
