Our Morning Star Kids staff and team are passionate about bringing that mission to life by creating engaging, age-appropriate experiences that kids can’t wait to attend! We want every child to take meaningful next steps on their spiritual journey. During each weekend service, your kids have their own space designed just for them — a place to learn, grow, and build their faith while you participate in adult worship. We provide a secure, clean, and welcoming environment where children discover how deeply God loves them —and have a whole lot of fun along the way. Your kids are going to love it!

Kick off the new school year with prayer and encouragement! Families and kids are invited
to stop by The Venue betweenservices on SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 for a special Backpack Blessing.
Receive a blessing for the new school year, make a card for your new teacher, and pick up
a special treat to share with them. We can't wait to pray over our students, teachers, and
families as they begin a new school year!

EARLY CHILDHOOD

The Nest: Infants (6-weeks old) through Toddlers (18-months)
The Nook: Toddlers (18 to 30 months)
The Hideout: Preschoolers (2 1/2 through 3-years old)
The Treehouse: Pre-kindergarteners (4 to entering Kindergarten)

We believe that even our littlest friends in the nurseries can learn about God’s love through caring team members who are encouraged to pray over these little ones.  As they progress through each different room, kids will hear God’s word through Bible Stories, sing fun worship songs, get creative and understand that Jesus is their Forever Friend. 

ELEMENTARY

The Cabana & Hut: Kindergarten through 3rd grade
The Loft: 4th and 5th graders

Our Elementary programming takes place in a Large Group/Small Group setting.  Kids will participate in Large Group active games, fun worship songs, and interactive teaching. Then they will divide into small groups to have intentional conversations that reinforce the week’s Bible Lesson and how they can apply it to their lives today.  Kids will have the opportunity to develop Bible skills with hands on learning and engaging memory verse activities.   By the time they transition to our Student Ministry after 5th grade, every child will know that God loves them and they can trust Him no matter what.

The Kid's Ministry does a great job attracting and keeping kids coming on Sunday. Everything they do is intentional.  Laura keeps up to date on the latest stuff and trends with kids. Very educated about what will work. She doesn’t “wing” it.
