What is a Covenant Group?

A Covenant Group is a group of 3-5 men or women who gather weekly or bi-weekly to learn to live as disciples of Jesus together, where they commit to growing in prayer, listening for God’s direction, and encouraging one another to follow Him in everyday life.

The goal of a Covenant Group is to cultivate relational accountability in each member's discipleship journey.

A Covenant Group is not a Bible Study, support group, or a mentorship. It is a place to hold each other accountable and celebrate growth in Jesus Christ, as we all seek to embody the presence, life and teachings of Jesus.  Covenant Groups follow a set of question that cultivate a relational space where spiritual formation happens through honesty, prayer, Scripture, and shared life.  A Covenant Group is not for everyone, but for those that are both spiritually mature and spiritually hungry for more depth with Jesus.

Who is a Covenant Group For?

  • People who are Spiritually Hungry - they want to grow deeper in their discipleship and are willing to be vulnerable, authentic, and be held accountable
  • People who are Spiritually Maturing - they are mature enough to be committed, practice confidentiality, and practice grace rather than judgment or shame
