Many have tried to define Jesus in ways that make Him more politically correct or easier to understand. Some have claimed He was just another prophet or teacher, but definitely not God. This was happening in the first century as well, and the Apostle Paul needed to help the church get past the LIES and into the truth of what we BELIEVE.
